    Daily Assignments

     

    In case of school closing here is class work that can be completed at home. Below you will find websites and academic assignments for 5 days that allow students to continue working from home. 

     

    Day 1

    Reading: Go to www.starfall.com. Click on ABC to practice letter recognition and letter sounds. Then pick one of the books on the website to read. You may practice writing ABC’s, your name and word wall words.

     

    Math: Go to www.pbskids.org.  Find a shape game to play then practice drawing each shape. Try to make a picture using as many shapes as you can.

     

    Science and Social Studies: Go to www.pbskids.org. Find Sid the Science Kid and pick a game to play.

     

    Day 2

    Reading: Go to www.starfall.com. Click on ABC to practice letter recognition and letter sounds. Then pick a book to read (pick a different one than yesterday).

     

    Math: Go to www.pbskids.org.  Find a number game to play. Practice writing from 1 to ___ (as high as you can).

     

    Science and Social Studies: Go to www.pbskids.org. Find Sid the Science Kid and print an activity to complete to go with one of the games.

     

    Day 3

    Reading: Go to www.starfall.com. Click on ABC to practice letter recognition and letter sounds. Then pick one of the books on the website to read. Draw a picture and write a sentence to tell about the story you read.

     

    Math: Go to www.pbskids.org.  Find a measurement game to play. Then measure how tall you are, how many steps it is from the kitchen to your bed, and how many steps is it from your bed to the door.

     

    Science and Social Studies: Go to www.pbskids.org. Find Sid the Science Kid and pick a game to play and watch a Sid the Science Kid video.

     

    Day 4

    Reading: Go to www.starfall.com. Click on ABC to practice letter recognition and letter sounds. Then pick one of the books on the website to read. You may practice writing ABC’s, your name and word wall words.

     

    Math: Go to www.pbskids.org.  Find a shape game to play then practice drawing each shape. Try to make a picture using as many shapes as you can.

    Day 5

    Reading: Go to www.starfall.com. Pick any reading activity you would like to complete.

     

    Math: Go to www.pbskids.org.  Pick any math game to play.
